Information for Members

 Attendance policy

• It is expected that members will attend rehearsals on a regular basis.

• Players unable to attend a rehearsal must notify the personnel manager in advance (jjmerali@gmail.com).

• The music conductors have the final say on concert participation and/or changes in seating within the section based on attendance.

• It is appreciated if anticipated absences (due to work, school, family schedules, etc) are reported as soon as they are known to facilitate the planning of efficient and productive rehearsals by the conductors.

Cell phones

• Cell phone use during rehearsals is strongly discouraged, except in cases of emergency.

• If it becomes necessary to use a cell phone either to text or to make a call, please do so outside of the rehearsal space so that other members will not be distracted. 

Late arrivals

• If you are arriving late to a rehearsal, or if you need to step out of the room during a rehearsal, please do so at a time which will be minimally disruptive to the conductors and fellow musicians.
