Our Founder, Richard B. Frankle

The Colts Neck Community Band was the fulfillment of a dream that its founder, Richard B. Frankle, had upon retiring from 37 years of teaching music in the Colts Neck School District. Music was his passion, teaching was his calling, and along with instilling thousands of students with a lifelong love of music, the Colts Neck Community Band is his legacy.

We have created a scholarship in Mr. Frankle's memory. It is awarded to deserving CNCB high school seniors who will be pursuing a degree in music.
